When is it safe to return to football?

We always ensure our sessions adhere to the latest government advice and guidelines from The FA (a full copy of these are available upon request). In addition to these, we will continue to review and adjust our sessions to ensure player and parent/carer safety remains our top priority.

What kit will my daughter need?

School PE kit is fine. Alternatively, a t-shirt/top and shorts or track suit bottoms will suffice. A light rain jacket is useful too as we will continue to train in the rain. Football boots are ideal as the sessions will be played on grass but trainers are acceptable in the short term. Please expect them to get a little muddy. A full water bottle (with your daughter's name on it) should be brought to every session.

Will sessions take place in bad weather?

Training sessions will only be cancelled if it is deemed unsafe for play e.g. strong winds, storm conditions or a frozen pitch. Sessions will take place in all other conditions. Your daughter should arrive dressed appropriately for the weather. Any session cancelled due to adverse weather or ground conditions will be re-arranged to a future date.

As a parent or carer, do I need to attend the full training session?

Yes. For player welfare reasons, parents and carers are expected to stay for the duration of each training session.

What time do the training sessions begin?

Players are requested to arrive 10 minutes before the start of their specific session as play will start promptly at the listed times.

Can my daughter book on a week by week basis?

Our training sessions have been carefully designed to cover the key football elements over 9 week blocks so we expect players to attend all 9 sessions. The first session in every block is considered a FREE try-out session for all NEW players meaning there will be no charge for that particular session should the player decide not to continue. Unfortunately, due to set-up costs, it is not possible to offer participation & payment on a week by week basis.

Can my daughter join after a new block has started?

Depending on availability, it may be possible for your daughter to join after a block has started. Please contact us for availability.

What if my daughter can't make a session?

It is the responsibility of the player to attend all sessions within each block. Refunds will not be offered for any sessions missed by players.

When is payment due?

Payment must be made in full after the FREE try-out session (Week 1 of 9) and before the start of the next session (Week 2 of 9). Please contact twickenhamparakeets@gmail.com for details on how to pay.
