Welcome
Parakeets Football introduces young girls to the game in an exciting, fun way.
Recognising that mixed groups presented a barrier for some players, the club was created to give 4-7 year old girls the opportunity to experience the game in a more welcoming environment.
Our aim is to provide a pathway to girls who may wish to join a league club as they get older. As the little sister of Twickenham Cygnets FC who offer club football for girls from U8 upwards, Parakeets are given priority for spaces every season.
Philosophy
We believe football should be fun and use game based practices and creative play to coach key football skills. We follow the The FA's approach to player development focusing on the key technical, psychological, social and physical aspects of the game. Practices cater for players of all abilities and are designed to be age appropriate.
Coaches
All our coaches are fully FA qualified and verified and have all the relevant safety and safeguarding procedures in place.
